Keep Your Plans Secret

Every morning, before the sun rose, a tiny sparrow flew quietly through the forest.

While the other birds perched on branches, chirping excitedly about the nests they planned to build, the little sparrow searched for small twigs, soft grass, and tiny feathers. One by one, it carried them to a hidden branch deep inside an old oak tree.

“Why do you disappear every day?” asked a colorful parrot.

“Come sing with us! There’s plenty of time to build a nest later,” laughed a cheerful myna.

The sparrow simply nodded and continued gathering its twigs.

Day after day, while the other birds spent their afternoons talking about what they would do tomorrow, the little sparrow kept building its nest quietly. With every trip, it added another twig, another leaf, and another feather until its home was almost complete.

Then, one evening, dark clouds rolled across the sky.

A fierce storm swept through the forest. Strong winds bent the trees, and heavy rain poured without stopping.

The birds that had spent their days chatting rushed from branch to branch, desperately searching for shelter. But the storm had arrived before they were ready.

The little sparrow flew calmly to its sturdy nest, safely tucked among the branches. Inside, it stayed warm and dry as the wind howled outside.

When morning arrived, the storm had passed. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, and the forest slowly came back to life.

The other birds looked at the sparrow’s cozy nest in amazement.

“When did you build such a beautiful home?” one of the birds asked.

The sparrow looked at them for a moment before replying.

“While everyone was talking about tomorrow,” it said, “I was preparing for it.”
